General Questions
What is LumineDroid?
LumineDroid is an AOSP-based custom ROM that focuses on providing a clean, stable, and secure Android experience. We aim for minimal modifications while maximizing system performance and stability.
Are Google Apps (GApps) included?
Yes, LumineDroid comes with GApps pre-installed. You do not need to flash them separately.
Does it pass SafetyNet / Play Integrity?
We strive to pass SafetyNet and Play Integrity out of the box on most supported devices. However, this may vary depending on the device and whether you have rooted your phone.
Is root access included?
No, LumineDroid does not come pre-rooted. If you need root access, you can flash Magisk separately.
Does it support OTA updates?
Yes, official builds support Over-The-Air (OTA) updates. You will receive a notification when a new update is available for your device.
Installation & Troubleshooting
My device is not listed in Supported Devices. Can I still install it?
If your device is not officially supported, do NOT flash builds intended for other devices. You can check our community groups for unofficial builds specifically made for your device.
I encountered a bug. How do I report it?
You can report bugs in our Official Telegram Group. When reporting, please provide:
- Device name and codename.
- Build date/version.
- Clear steps to reproduce the bug.
- Logcat (highly recommended).
How do I get back to stock ROM?
To go back to your device's original software, you will need to flash the official stock firmware using the tools provided by your device manufacturer (e.g., MiFlash for Xiaomi, Odin for Samsung, or Fastboot for Pixel).
